Rosacea is a common, but misunderstood skin disorder that causes the skin to have a red “acne-like” appearance. Common skin problems associated with Rosacea are flushing or redness on the cheeks, nose, chin or forehead, the appearance of small visible blood vessels, bumps and/or pimples, and watery or irritated eyes.
Uneven skin tone and brown spots can occur for many reasons. The most well known reasons are uneven build up of Melanin, lack of sebum production, skin exposure to sun, and the interaction of estrogen. Discoloration may also be the result of trauma, acne inflammation and harsh chemicals.
